The greater Zürich area is home to well-connected instrument makers. This summer, these makers will come together again, for the third time, to showcase their work in Werkplatz Geige 2022. Leaders in their field will meet together with musicians to exchange ideas about traditional methods and innovative technologies.

Workshop concerts, sound workshops and presentations will be interspersed throughout the weekend.

Werkplatz Geige 2022 will take place in the Hunziker Areal in Zürich. Renowned for its architectural and urban development achievements, the Hunziker Areal provides the ideal infrastructure for the symposium; practice rooms, accommodation and various restaurants can be found in the immediate vicinity. Public transport and a rental service for bikes guarantee a variety of connections to the city centre. The project is supported by the cooperative association: mehralswohnen.ch.
